Thanos Papalexis, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sisemen Corporation, was born in London in 1972.

He completed his school education at one of London's leading schools, where he represented his school sports teams at the highest levels, including Captaining his school Rugby, Hockey and Athletics teams against other leading schools, and setting a number of Athletics records which remain unbeaten more than two decades later.
 
Thanos Papalexis studied Business and Product Engineering at university in the UK and, thereafter, joined his family's Shipping group in the mid-1990s.

In the Shipping business, Thanos Papalexis was soon responsible for the chartering (leasing) of ships managed by his family's group to first-class charterers, mainly large Supertankers and large Iron Ore Carriers, an area in which he excelled.
 
Toward the late 1990s, he led his family group's formal diversification into the Real Estate business, leaving a short but successful career in the Shipping business behind and immersing himself fully in this new area of interest.
 
Thanos Papalexis oversaw the development of a number of diverse Real Estate projects in Europe, projects ranging from large individual family homes to residential apartment buildings and loft conversions.

In the early part of the new Millennium, having searched for the next attractive Real Estate opportunity, he decided that the immediate future lay in the Florida Real Estate market in the United States of America. True to his commitment, he soon settled in Florida to oversee the diversification in this new arena and, true to his belief, the rapidly rising Florida Real Estate market justified his instincts.

During this time, he successfully managed and concluded a number of lucrative Real Estate transactions, continuing to do so in adverse conditions as the market eventually reached a plateau and, thereafter, commenced its slide downwards. This proved to be the beginnings of Sisemen in its present form.

Since then, Thanos Papalexis has consistently proved that Sisemen is capable of outperforming the market. With a relentless drive to find the next property that will fit into the Sisemen vision, and with a devoted passion to create luxury properties to surpass the expectations of the most discerning buyer, both in terms of form as well as service and amenities. Under the leadership of Thanos Papalexis, Sisemen has become an established Developer on the exclusive island of Palm Beach, Florida, and its prime surrounding areas.
